Try Reuben Riffel's Recipe for Braaidue – with Witblits – from Braai: Reuben on Fire
Reuben Riffel, the author of Braai: Reuben on Fire, shared a scrumptious recipe for Braaidue on his Facebook page in honour of National Heritage Day.
Riffel called his Braaidue the “fanciest braai canapé you’ll ever make”.
He warns that it is important to watch the temperature when preparing this dish, as “once the cheese burns slightly, it will mess up the flavour”.
The cheese-based fondue also contains port and witblits, and you can serve fresh chopped chillies or crushed toasted nuts on the side.
